BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Four reputed gang members were arrested Thursday in the culmination of a two-month investigation into a string of residential burglaries.

DaMon McGuire, Christopher Witfield and two unnamed juveniles were arrested for their alleged roles in the burglaries. They are members of a new criminal street gang called Hard on Hoes, or HOH, according to police.

HOH members are suspected in more than 50 residential, daytime burglaries in the southeast part of the city.

During warrant and probation searches Thursday, stolen property and guns were seized and a marijuana-growing operation was discovered.

To date, 12 HOH members have been arrested for the burglaries, police said.
