Man in jail for allegedly killing uncle

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A man with a long criminal history was arrested for fatally shooting his uncle Tuesday night.
Don Henry Goldman Jr., 31, allegedly shot Steven Douglas Henderson Sr., 51, in the head during an argument on the 800 block of South Haley Street. Four children were at the home during the shooting. Two were turned over to protective services, while the other two were turned over to relatives. Police didn't say what the men were arguing about. Goldman has a criminal history dating back to 1996, according to Kern County Superior Court records. He was most recently sentenced to two years in prison in 2008 on an assault charge. |
