Police seek missing man with mental issues

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Police are asking for help in finding a missing man with mental health issues.

Charles Irwin Steverson, 35, was reported missing over the weekend by his mother. He's not currently taking medication for his condition and may be a danger to himself, according to a police news release.

Steverson is described as being 6-foot-5 and 270 pounds.

Anyone with information about Steverson's whereabouts is asked to call police at (661) 327-7111.
