FRAZIER PARK, Calif. -- Many folks in this quiet town were unsettled by the discovery Tuesday of a dead body.

Two men stumbled upon the body while walking along the creek near Arroyo Trail.

The coroner's office identified the body as that of 42-year-old Jukka Hellsten, who reportedly went missing Oct. 24. The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating his death as being suspicious, though a cause of death hasn't been determined.

Hellsten's family and friends were visibly shaken as they gathered near the creek Tuesday afternoon. They declined to comment on their loss.

It's unknown why Hellsten, who moved to Frazier Park a year ago, went missing.
