BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A Bakersfield truck driver accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl he met on the Internet admitted to having a sexual relationship with the girl, according to court documents obtained by Eyewitness News on Monday.
William Wesley Deyoe Jr., 63, was charged Monday with three felonies: two counts of oral copulation and one count of sexual intercourse with a minor.
According to the documents, Deyoe "admitted to having vaginal intercourse with the victim" and "believed the victim was 16 years old."
The alleged incident happened in his vehicle during the early morning hours of Aug. 15, when Deyoe picked up the girl from her home.
Hours later, Deyoe was arrested by Bakersfield police without incident.
He is being held on $100,000 bail.
