4,000-square-foot boarded-up building burns in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A fire erupted Monday morning at a boarded-up 4,000-square-foot mutlifamily structure on the 1900 block of Flower Street.

Kern County firefighters said they have trouble getting into the building because of the boarded-up doors and windows, but, once inside, they had the fire fully controlled in 20 minutes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
