BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Four men have been convicted of robbing Golden West Casino in 2007.

The men were arrested in 2008 when they told people they planned to rob the south-central Bakersfield casino again.

Thursday, a jury found Jajuan Roberts guilty on four counts second-degree robbery and assault with a semiautomatic firearm. The jury found John Williams, Lynell Lewis and Deon Joseph guilty of second-degree robbery.

A fifth man previously pleaded no contest to charges and was sentence to eight years in prison.
