Freeway body dragged before being hit by more vehicles
By Associated Press
LOS ANGELES (AP) - A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 105 early Monday in South Los Angeles and then dragged nearly one mile before being hit by several other passing cars.
Investigation of the accident closed all eastbound lanes of the freeway for more than four hours. Patrick Kimball of the California Highway Patrol says the victim was walking on the freeway in the dark. He says the body carried identification indicating the man was 67 years old and went by the lone name Allah. |
