Bakersfield man killed in plane crash in Oregon, identified
Smoke rises from Sunriver airport where a small plane crashed killing the pilot
A Bakersfield pilot is killed in a plane crash in central Oregon. The plane went down Wednesday in the resort town of Sunriver.
The Cessna 441 twin-engine turboprop was registered to ProSoft Technology of Bakersfield, Calif. The Sunriver Police Department identified the pilot as Douglas John Sharratt of Bakersfield. ProSoft could not comment to Eyewitness News saying the pilot's family had not been notified. The Federal Aviation Administration began an investigation. |
