UPDATE: Bakersfield police said Tuesday, April 9, that Kasey and Kristopher Villegas were arrested Monday with the assistance of the Kern County Probation Department.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Two young teens are wanted on suspicion of attempted murder.

Kasey Villegas, 14, and Kristopher Villegas, 13, allegedly were involved in the stabbing Tuesday night of a 17-year-old boy. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on the 300 block of East 9th Street.

A woman, 38-year-old Louisa Polin, has already been arrested and also accused of attempted murder.

Police haven't said what prompted the alleged stabbing.
