2 arrested with $385K worth of drugs
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Two men were busted Thursday with pounds of drugs and thousands of dollars in cash.
The Kern County Sheriff's Office said Friday that narcotics deputies apprehended 36-year-old Gamaliel Salas and 45-year-old Miguel Sanchez after a traffic stop. Deputies then went to their home on Fairfax Road to conduct a probation search and found about 7 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 1 pound of cocaine, ½ pound of heroin and $9,483 in cash.
The seized drugs have an estimated street value of nearly $385,000, the sheriff's office said.
Salas and Sanchez were arrested and booked into county jail on suspicion of false identifications and multiple drug offenses.
