2 alleged car thieves captured in Wal-Mart parking lot

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Two alleged car thieves were captured after an overnight chase.
Police said they tried to pull the suspects over on Akers Road and White Lane in southwest Bakersfield. The suspects, who haven't been publicly identified, allegedly failed to stop and led officers in a chase to northwest Bakersfield.
The pursuit ended in the parking lot of the Rosedale Highway Wal-Mart when police deployed spike strips.

The Video says access denied. We saw about 10 poilce and 5 sheriff cars following the two thieves with the helicopter spotlight right on them. They were driving about 10-15 mph heading south on Fruitvale Ave between 1:10 - 1:20 AM when I was woke up by all of the sirens. The car looked like a 1992Â green Honda Civic. Boy... what were they doing in their pants with all of this attention? The look on the passengers face was like, why do I always get caught?
