BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Aaron Youngblood, the son of Kern County Sheriff Donny Youngblood, was arraigned Tuesday on various weapon and drug charges.

The younger Youngblood was found sleeping in a vehicle Sunday morning in the area of Madre and Topaz streets. Inside his vehicle, Bakersfield police found drugs, stolen handguns, a stolen Taser, stolen phones and stolen credit cards, according to Sgt. Mary DeGeare.

A subsequent search warrant uncovered more weapons, drugs and stolen property in a home and second vehicle, DeGeare said.

Aaron Youngblood had been arrested in 2009, 2007 and 2003 for various crimes, including driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.

He's due back in court later this month.
