Alleged serial robber arrested, linked to Bakersfield heists

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Authorities have arrested an alleged serial robber.
Nicholas Lamb, 32, is accused of robberies in more than a half dozen cities, including Bakersfield.
The Fresno-area resident was arrested over the weekend for a robbery in Modesto. Detectives from Bakersfield traveled to Modesto to interview Lamb and determined that he had robbed the Walmart on Rosedale Highway and a Wells Fargo bank inside the Vons store on Coffee Road.
Lamb's other alleged robberies were in Paso Robles, Gilroy, Tracey, Patterson and Riverbank, Bakersfield police said Tuesday.
