Calvary Chapel Westbrook is collecting sleeping bags, cots and mats. Cash donations are also being accepted. Donors are encouraged to drop off items at Calvary Chapel Westbrook, 6501 Schirra Court, Suite 303, Bakersfield.  For more information call 397-6000.



Salvation Army At this time they are taking cash donations and nonperishable food donations. Donors are encouraged to drop off donations at the Salvation Army Bakersfield Corps Community Center, 4417 Wilson Road, Bakersfield.  If you would like to donate online to the Southern California fire victims, go to  www.SalvationArmyUSA.org





Red Cross: has 24 hour shelters and food stations set up in Los Angeles county (includes Santa Clarita). They are accepting cash donations only. To donate, you can go to
 www.RedCross.org  Donate link. There you can donate online.

If you live one of the fire areas and you need to let loved ones know that you are safe, go to www.redcross.org  Safe & Well link. There you can list your name so that family members know that you're okay or list a name of a family that you are needing information on.

EZ Lube announced today that $10 of every regular price, full service oil change redeemed through the month of October will be donated to the American Red Cross to aid those affected by the Southern California wildfires. To find an EZ Lube near you, click here.




Effective immediately, to support and thank those impacted by the California fires, McDonald's restaurants in all Southern California are offering a FREE Extra Value Meal of their choice to FIREFIGHTERS, PARAMEDICS, LAW ENFORCEMENT AND NATIONAL GUARD TROOPS with identification through November 1st. Also McDonalds is partnering with Wayport, Inc. to offer FREE Wi-Fi at all McDonald's restaurants in Southern California starting October 26th.
