BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Keith Metcalf said he was excited about Tuesday's presidential primary election. So much so that he worked at a polling location in Oildale.

His problems began with the arrival of the first voter.

Within two hours, he had made two comments that allegedly violated the poll worker handbook. He said he was asked to leave.

The first-time poll worker admitted to making mistakes, but he told Eyewitness News that he believes his polling supervisor overreacted.
