BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Kristy Winsor was looking for a younger, beautiful look when she went to Top Surgeons, a medical office on Stockdale Highway.

That is a decision she regrets to this day, she said.

"You can see all the stitching marks. They cut more from this eye than the other," Winsor said.

Winsor signed on with Top Surgeons for a $9,500 three-surgery package that included an eyelid lift, laser skin treatment and tattoo removal. She would only make it through the first procedure.

"I started crying. No one was there. I thought they were incompetent," Winsor said after going to a follow-up appointment only to find the local office had moved.

Monday afternoon, Eyewitness News made attempts to contact the company. Its office on Stockdale Highway was closed.

Eyewitness News also made calls to the surgeon in Southern California, but no calls were returned.
