Residents cry foul over calf ranch smell
By Anthony Bailey, Eyewitness News
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Valerie Green is one of several people who live off Berkshire Road who are upset about the foul odor coming from the Robinson Calf Ranch.
Green said she made calls to the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District and was told to call Kern County Environmental Health, which told her to call the air district again. "I felt like this was just something that was being handed off from agency to agency. Nobody wants to claim it," said Green. Brenda Turner with the Valley Air District said the facility has been investigated and is within the limits of its permit, which was issued in 2006. |
