Galloway attorneys call it quits
By Gloria Bratton
An update to an exclusive Eyewitness News Investigation involving a Bakersfield based Catholic online business.
The owner of the business is this man, Michael Galloway and he's at the center of a Kern County District Attorney complaint alleging "Catholic financial Services" and three other websites he owns defrauded Catholic non profit groups across the country and in Canada out of thousands of dollars in donations. Last month, Attorneys for Michael Galloway files a motion to no longer represent him as a client. Today a judge granted the motion. A spokesman for the Bakersfield Law firm Klein-Denatale-Goldner cited 'communications issues' as the reason why they wanted out of the case. The DA's case against Michael Galloway is set for September. |
