BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Pottery Barn will operate a 12,397-square-foot store at The Outlets at Tejon Ranch, a public relations firm said Thursday.

This will be Pottery Barn's ninth U.S. outlet store and its first west of Texas.

The shopping center is slated to open in August off Interstate 5 near the Highway 99 junction, about 20 miles south of Bakersfield.

More than 70 stores are planned for the the 320,000-square-foot center, including H&M, Coach, Banana Republic and White House / Black Market.

"At Pottery Barn, we believe home furnishings should be exceptional in comfort, quality, style, and value," Evan Hutton, vice president of Pottery Barn Brands Outlet, said in a news release. "We are excited to open a new outlet store at the Outlets at Tejon and feature a great product assortment set in lifestyle and destination displays to inspire our customers and provide them with the exceptional service for which Pottery Barn is known."
