BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Congressman Kevin McCarthy's office was broken into and burglarized Friday, according to Bakersfield Police. When officers arrived on scene they found the unknown suspects had broken a window to gain access, and removed items of value.

Two separate calls reporting damage to the windows had been made to Bakersfield Police Wednesday and Thursday of the same week. Police don't believe anyone had gotten into the office on those days.
