Detentions deputy Margarita Young was arrested Monday on suspicion of having sex with high-profile murderer Timothy Titus Rodriguez was he was incarcerated in the pre-trial facility.
Sources close to the case tell Eyewitness News that stacks of love letters were found inside Rodriguez' cell. The letters were allegedly written by the detentions deputy.
It's reported that Young wrote about how much she missed him and went on to talk about her devotion to him. Investigators were led to these letters because the deputy was scheduled to be a witness for Rodriguez' sentencing phase.

Rodriguez was sentenced to death last week for killing 90-year-old Thelma Long and beating her 59-year-old daughter, Cathryn Reeves, in 2007 over a dispute about the amount of money he was paid to do odd jobs around their house.
Jail employees and people close to the sex case noticed the two seemed to be acting very close and unusual for a deputy and inmate. That behavior led investigators to search Rodriguez' cell, and that is when the letters were found.
The documents were signed by Young with a different name, but, when investigators searched the deputy's house, they recovered the computer that the letters were written on.
Young has been charged with one felony count of sexual activity with a confined adult in detention. She is out on bail and is due back in court on Jan. 25.
Rodriguez has been transferred to San Quentin's death row.
