Motorcycle cop crashes into pickup

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A police officer suffered at least a broken arm Friday morning when his motorcycle crashed into a pickup.
The officer was riding along the shoulder of Olive Drive at Knudsen Drive when he crashed into the truck, which was making a left turn into a parking lot, according to the California Highway Patrol. It's not believed the pickup driver suffered any injuries. No one was cited, and CHP officers were still trying to determine fault. ![]() ![]() |
