BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Bakersfield Blaze pitcher Josh Lueke was arrested in May and charged with raping an unconscious woman.

Lueke has now agreed to a plea bargain that will limit his prison time to 40 days.

In exchange for Lueke pleading no contest to false imprisonment with violence, the Kern County District Attorney's Office dropped one charge of rape of an unconscious victim and one count of rape of a drugged victim.

Lueke will not serve any more time in jail and will walk away with time served, according to Lueke's attorney, David Torres.

The Bakersfield Blaze is a Single-A farm team for the Texas Rangers. Torres said Lueke will get to stay with the Rangers but will be transferred out of Bakersfield.
