Woman identified in Hwy. 46 crash

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Kern County Coroner's office has identified the woman who died when her car hit a big rig head-on Friday.
The crash happened at 6 a.m. Friday on Highway 46. Officers say Jerri Skog, 23, was trying to pass another vehicle when she collided with the semitruck. Investigators say Skog was ejected from her silver Honda because she wasn't wearing a seat belt. She died at the scene of the crash. |
