Jacob Freeman, a worker at The Home Depot on Ming Avenue, was arrested Thursday after being caught on security video selling merchandise to friends at prices far below retail.

Bakersfield police obtained search warrants for Freeman's home and other locations where they recovered truckloads of items from his employer.

Investigators say the alleged wrongdoing dates back to December. The total loss to The Home Depot hasn't been tallied yet, according to police Lt. Bill Bailey.

Two of Freeman's friends, Leroy and Louis Randall, were also arrested Thursday on suspicion of conspiracy and burglary.
