BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — An attorney was arrested Wednesday morning, accused of shooting his wife and then calling 911.

The wife was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Police said she was unresponsive and had been shot in the torso area.

Madrigali allegedly shot his wife around 3:30 a.m. at their home on the 1200 block of Telegraph Avenue, near Haley Street.

The husband was booked into Kern County jail on suspicion of attempted homicide and spousal abuse, according to police.
