We're learning more Wednesday night about how investigators discovered who cause the fire that destroyed Tehachapi's historic train depot. It was a call from an anonymous tipster led police to find key evidence.

Jeff Kermode, Chief of Police tells us that no arrests have been made yet because arson cases are very technical. Kermode adds that investigators will submit the case to the District Attorney's office to obtain a warrant before the individuals are arrested.

At the time two males ages 31 and 36 are suspects and illegal use of fireworks has been determined as the cause.

Local business owners are really upset and are concerned at the impact this will have on their business and local economy.

Nancy Jo Thompson, Owner of Local Business, "We're hoping that they rebuild it very quickly because all of the businesses in this local area were looking to forward to it opening in hopes that it would benefit our business."

The damage from the fire is a million dollars and locals are donating money towards rebuilding a new one.

The fire department wants to remind people that fireworks that fly are illegal in California.

As for the two suspect, if charged could be facing two felony charges, arson and possession of illegal fireworks.
