BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Is there someone at your work who annoys you?
A new survey on Yahoo.com points out the four most annoying types of co-workers and how to deal with them.
First, there's the co-worker who talks non-stop about their upcoming wedding, their child or pet. Seattle University professor Aron Grow says one solution is to bring up a different topic so that person focuses less on themselves.
Next, there's the worker who sells fundraiser tickets or candy bars for their kids' school activities. 62% found this inappropriate for the work place.
More than half complained of a noisy co-worker: someone who is a loud talker or listens to loud music at work. You can always politely ask them to wear headphones or close their office door.
Finally, there's the needy co-worker. The one who's in constant need of praise or attention. The best way to deal with them is to address the issue head-on and set boundaries.
