Ripken brothers talk baseball, youth sports

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) - The Ripkens could very well be considered the first family of baseball.

Cal Ripken Sr. played for and managed the Baltimore Orioles. At one point, he even managed both his sons, Bill and Cal Ripken Jr.

Cal Ripken Jr. is considered one of the greatest to ever play shortstop and holds Major League Baseball's record for most consecutive games played at 2,632.

Bill Ripken is currently an analyst on the MLB Network.

The brothers joined Eyewitness News Mornings to talk baseball and about Youth Development Parks that have been built through the Ripken Foundation.
