BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The JobFest series is back for 2014.

The Kern County Department of Human Services will host community job fairs beginning this week and running through May.

Job seekers should come "dressed for success" with at least 20 copies of their resume or master application, the department said.

Employers with openings are invited to participate at no cost. Employers should contact Brandon Evans at (661) 631-6041 for more information.

Ridgecrest - 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 19 - SpringHill Suites Marriott, 113 E. Sydor Ave.
Mojave - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 5 - Strata Sports Center, 10350 Heather Ave., California City
Lamont - 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday, March 13 - David Head Center, 10300 San Diego St.
Shafter - 9 a.m. to noon - Thursday, March 27 - Shafter Veterans Hall, 309 California Ave.
