I am a general assignment reporter for Eyewitness News with special emphasis on city and county government and crime. I've been with Eyewitness News since 1992. My goal is to tell stories that are important to my viewers, and to show how events and issues affect their lives.

From 1984 through 1992 I worked at several radio stations in Bakersfield. I was the News Director at KERN-AM and News Director and anchor at KKXX. I started in radio news at stations in Utah and Idaho. I attended Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID, majoring in Broadcast Journalism.

I am the proud mother of three grown sons.
