MURRAY'S FAMILY FARMS Will be holding their second annual Cherry Festival Sat. May 11 @ 11:00 am - 6:oo pm.

Today at 11 AM, Elissa Davey founder of Garden of Innocence, a non profit that provides dignified burials for abandoned and unidentified children will be meeting with Juanita Medina the new Bakersfield Director of Garden of Innocence Kern County, as well as Davey Hepburn, Director of Historic Union Cemetery, that is offering to donate land to Garden of Innocence for all future burials in Kern County.
Garden of Innocence has been doing this service at no charge to the counties and saves them approximately $500 per child. After two years of ground work, illiness of Ms. Medina, they are finally ready to build this new garden.
Garden of Innocence makes sure no child will ever go into a Potters Field again and NO child will leave this earth without someone who cared.
In October 2012, the new garden in Fresno, laid to rest 23 babies in one day, with five more going in this Saturday in Fresno.  
We care for babies that were born past 20 weeks gestation and passed away but the parents walked away and did not claim their childs remains as well as babies that were found along the road, trash, sewer, etc.
We bring a community together to care for one of its own and we need a lot of volunteers here in Bakersfield.  Please help us spread the word. We need a lot of volunteers. write goikern@gmail.com

Just curious... What is the deal with the Eyewitness news in house producers??? I mean I seriously can't watch a single news cast without seeing like 10 mistakes??? The wrong video is ALWAYS running while the anchors are talking about something else... The Audio is constantly cutting out and the whole thing just seems like a bad mess thrown together, and will someone PLEASE teach Amity how to read the news... ???  It used to be everymorning was a bad joke... Now it's even like that in the 5p, 5:30p and 6p news cast... I like 29 above all others... But it is getting to the point where I am starting to watch other news casts on different channels. What is wrong with you people? You don't consider how incompetent you portray yourselves by continuing the lies and coverup on the attack in Benghazi Lybia? What is wrong with the US citizens that they allow themselves to ignore the reckless deaths of four Americans?

I can not believe you would still be reporting that a video caused the attack on the american embassy in benghazi. We are all aware it was an orchastrated terrorist attack on the U.S. and that our government attempted to cover it up. Report the truth, thats all I as a viewer ask.
