Weather Road Show

Bring an Eyewitness News Weathercaster to Your School!

Are your educators looking for a fun and interactive way to teach weather? We welcome the opportunity to interact with the community, especially with Valley and Mountain schools. With that said, we would like to bring the Eyewitness News Weather Road Show to your school!

The Eyewitness News Weather Road Show presents your students with an opportunity to learn about severe weather, TV weather forecasting, fun weather facts and other specific weather elements from familiar forecasters!

What Do You Need to Do:

The Weather Road Show lasts from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on questions from students. It works well in classroom settings where up to 150 students can be involved. We are available for school visits on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30am or 1:30pm.

Scheduled dates are tentative and may be subject to rescheduling based on availability, breaking news and other various conflicts. We will not schedule school visits on or around holidays. A TV, VCR, table, wipe board and curious kids are the only things we need to be successful. As part of the presentation, classes are sometimes shown weather segments from our newscasts.

Questions? Just fill out the request form below and someone from Eyewitness News will contact you.
