BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A 42-year-old man was arrested late Tuesday for allegedly kidnapping a woman twice.

Deputies were called after the second alleged kidnapping. Noel Napier went into Larsen's Food Store on Wible Road at around 10:20 p.m. and forced the woman to go with him, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators found the woman uninjured a short time later at a home in the Oildale area, the sheriff's office said. They discovered that Napier allegedly kidnapped the woman around 7 p.m. that night, too.

Napier, who the sheriff's office said knew the woman, reportedly drove her around Bakersfield.

He was located and arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, false imprisonment, criminal threats and battery.
