Update: Missing teens return home

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Two teens have gone missing in south Bakersfield.

Police said 12-year-old Savhanna Kenney and 13-year-old Alizae Mejia were last seen on Brunswick Street, near Monitor Street and Calcutta Drive, Thursday around 5 p.m.

Kenney is described as being 4-foot-8, 75 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. According to police, she was last seen wearing a tan T-shirt, dark blue jeans and black boots.

Mejia stands 5-foot-2, weighs 90 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Detectives said she was last seen wearing a gray sweater with black leather sleeves and the word "Love" inscribed on the front, black tights, and carrying a pink backpack.
