BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A winning lottery ticket worth more than $1.5 million was sold in Bakersfield.

The Mega Millions ticket was sold at Howard's Mini Market, 3300 Planz Road, according to the California Lottery. The ticket missed only one number in Tuesday night's drawing for a $106 million jackpot.

No one else across the nation hit the jackpot, so Friday's Mega Millions jackpot will grow to $119 million, the state lottery said.
