Police investigate a robbery Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Citizens Business Bank on Ming Avenue in Bakersfield, Calif.
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Police spokeswoman Michaela Beard said a Citizens Business Bank on Ming Avenue was robbed Tuesday by two men. Beard said the men approached a teller in an "aggressive" manner, but she couldn't confirm that they were armed with a gun.

No one was harmed during the robbery, near The Marketplace shopping center.

After the robbery, police swarmed a house on Joelyle Street, about 4 miles northwest of the bank. Nearby Bakersfield Christian High School and Del Rio Elementary School were put on short lockdowns.

Beard said in a follow-up interview Wednesday that a GPS tracking device that was part of the stolen money led officers to the home near Stockdale Highway. No one was arrested for the robbery, however.

The FBI has joined the investigation, Beard said Tuesday.
