Police: Filming permit to close busy Bakersfield streets

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Police warned of road closures early Monday morning in western Bakersfield.

The roads are being closed based on a filming permit given to Intelligence Technologies, according to police spokeswoman Michaela Sims. She said an attorney is having a fatal traffic crash from 2012 reconstructed.

From 3-6 a.m. that morning, Oct. 28, the northbound lanes of Coffee Road will be closed from Stockdale Highway to Brimhall Road. Truxtun Avenue from Coffee Road east to Quailridge Road will also be closed.

The southbound lanes will remain open, but Truxtun Avenue will not be accessible.
