Bicyclist killed in traffic crash
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A bicyclist was killed Tuesday night in northwest Bakersfield.

The Kern County coroner's office identified the bicyclist as 47-year-old Tony Ray Rumple.

Rumple was riding around 9:40 p.m. on Coffee Road near Hageman when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Ashley Bell, who police say could be at fault. Bell has not been cited by police.

Rumple was pronounced dead at Kern Medical Center.
