Sheriff's office: 4 hurt in fight at Hart Park
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Kern County park rangers broke up a large fight Sunday in Hart Park, according to the sheriff's office.

A vehicle was seen leaving the area at a high-rate of speed. Rangers pursued the vehicle, which yielded at Columbus and Haley.

Four people were taken to hospitals for medical attention, and one person was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, the sheriff's office said Sunday.

Park rangers Chief Robert Boardman said Monday that broken bottles and knives appeared to have been used. Boardman wasn't sure what sparked the fight, which caused stab wounds and cuts to those involved.

The sheriff's office hasn't released any names for those involved.
