Police make 2 arrests after drive-by shooting

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Two men were arrested Wednesday night for allegedly shooting at another man.

The target of the shooting wasn't identified by police. That man told officers he was fired upon in an apparent drive-by shooting in the area of 32nd and San Dimas streets.

A short time later, officers found a vehicle matching the description from the shooting. Two men were subsequently found and arrested - 21-year-old Jesse Zamora and 39-year-old Gregorio Zamora. The elder suspect was arrested following a short standoff with officers.

Police didn't say what motivated the shooting.
