Cause of death released for man who died in sheriff's custody

The Kern County coroner's office released the cause of death Monday for a man who died over the summer while in the custody of sheriff's deputies.

Ronnie Ledesma Jr. died of "massive right cerebral hemisphere infarction and thrombosis of the proximal right middle cerebral artery," the coroner's office said. The death has been ruled an accident.
