CHP: Bystanders help drunk teen after crash into power pole
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Bystanders are credited with pulling an allegedly drunk 19-year-old man out of a car he crashed into a power pole late Sunday night.

The driver's name was withheld. He ran a red light along Haley Street near Bernard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The power pole caught fire caught fire after the crash, and flames consumed the car. Despite that, the driver only received reportedly minor injuries.
