Alleged Subway sandwich shop robbers arrested

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Police on Tuesday announced arrests in a pair of fast-food restaurant robberies.

The Subway sandwich shops at 1525 Columbus St. and 2612 Oswell St. were robbed Saturday and Sunday night, respectively. The robbers were armed with a gun during at least Sunday night's robbery.

Police got a getaway vehicle description from the Oswell Street robbery, and an officer stopped a matching car that night.

Evidence of both robberies was found in the car, and the three occupants - 25-year-old Zani Maree Funke, 25-year-old Kevin Lee Jones and 24-year-old Ryan Church Kohr - were arrested.
