WOFFORD HEIGHTS, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) - The sixth annual Wofford Heights Dog Show boasted prideful winners in some unusual categories, such as the "dirtiest dog," while raising money for scholarships.
The show was put on by the Kern River Valley Ladies of the Elks.
While there may have been serious competition for categories, such as "cutest" and "best dressed," the real crowd-pleasers seemed to be for more obscure categories, such as "chubbiest."
Entrants even had opportunities to make up their own category.
Lillian Andrews and her 3-year-old dog Snowball won the look-alike competition.
"I think she is beautiful, so I guess I should feel it's a compliment," said Andrews.
