BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Kern County officials conducted a multiagency disaster drill Thursday, examining the county's response in the case of a major emergency.

The scenario: What is the Lake Isabella dams failed? The results could be disastrous, with one official estimating 5 to 10 feet of water flowing into downtown Bakersfield within eight hours of dam failure.

The training scenario allowed officials to examine how they would respond in a real-life emergency.
