BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK-KBFX) -- A man was hospitalized, after Bakersfield Police say he was shot in the upper torso early Friday morning.
According to investigators, officers heard shots fired in the area of 19th Street and "V" Street around 1:30 a.m.
They found a 23-year-old man with at least two gunshot wounds to the chest area, when officers were flagged down on 19th Street and "H" Street.
Detectives say the incident started at Club Ink on "K" Street. A fight that started inside the bar, and moved outside, where the suspect opened fire, hitting the victim, police said.
The suspect has not been captured.
Police at the scene said the victim was taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
